Legal

Privacy policy.

This policy explains how ArcRock Construction handles personal information submitted through this website, including any drawings or photographs attached to an enquiry.

Who handles your information

ArcRock Construction, Television Centre, 101 Wood Lane, London W12 7FA, United Kingdom, is the data controller for information submitted through this website. Questions may be sent to office@arcrock.co.uk.

Information we collect

We collect the details you provide in an enquiry: your name, email address, telephone number, the project address or area, project type, estimated budget, desired start date, preferred contact method and your description of the works. If you attach files, we also receive those drawings, photographs or documents and the information they contain.

Why we collect it and our lawful basis

Enquiry information is used to respond to you, to understand the property and scope, to prepare estimates and to manage a project if one proceeds. Where you contact us about possible works, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries, and on the steps necessary to enter into or perform a contract once a project is agreed. Where a legal or accounting obligation applies, we rely on compliance with that obligation. We do not sell or share your information for marketing purposes and we do not send marketing emails from this form.

Files, drawings and photographs

Uploaded files are transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored in private storage that is not publicly accessible and is not indexed by search engines. They are shared only with the members of our team, and where relevant the specialist trades or consultants, who need them to assess or deliver your project. Please do not upload information you do not want us to hold; if you would prefer to send drawings another way, email us instead.

Who we share information with

We use trusted service providers to host this website, store enquiry records and deliver enquiry notification emails to our office. They process information on our instructions only. We do not share your information with anyone else unless you ask us to, or unless we are required to by law.

Retention

Enquiries that do not proceed to a project are normally kept for up to 24 months so we can pick up the conversation if you return to us, then deleted. Where a project proceeds, records are retained for the duration of the project and for as long as necessary afterwards for contractual, warranty, insurance, tax and legal purposes, after which they are deleted.

Your rights

You may request access to the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, object to our use of it, or ask for a copy in a portable format. Write to office@arcrock.co.uk and we will respond within one month.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK supervisory authority for data protection, at ico.org.uk.
